Since the launch of instagram and the growing popularity of social media itself, National Park foot traffic has increased exponentially all year round. However, a large number of people are not visiting for the right reasons. They are visiting because it is a trend, or a good post, rather than to admire the beauty of our parks. My objective in this wild posting campaign for the AdCouncil is to call attention to the fact that people do not appreciate the National Parks and view them as a way to get likes. Targetting all Americans who visit the parks and/or engage in social media with the. big idea- “Take care of your favorite backdrop, it is more than a post.”
